I made the mistake once of putting my paradise fish in with my dwarf flame gouramis, he harassed them until both of them were dead. This may not be the case, because sometimes they can coexhist peacefully, but if you dont want to risk it, i wouldnt. If you no the temperment of your gouramis and paradise fish, give it a go. Just remember that they are from the same family, and can become territorial and aggressive. Otherwise, i dont see a problem with the other fish. I am not sure about the banded gourami, but good luck with it…..
